Michael Lister is a novelist, essayist, playwright, and screenwriter who lives in north Florida.
Though writing is his primary creative expression, Michael dabbles in other art fo
rms, as well, including acting, filmmaking, producing plays, and the lost art of air guitar.
He is the author of four published books: Power in the Blood, Blood of the Lamb, Flesh and Blood, and North Florida Noir. He is the writer of many more.
The prolific author's latest projects are: Burnt Offerings (thriller), The Big Goodbye (noir), Finding the Way Again (nonfiction/spirituality), Spending the Night with Alyson Adler (literary), Snapshots (literary thriller), The Body and the Blood (John Jordan mystery), Another Quiet Night in Desperation (noir short stories and film), and Conversations (plays).
Michael has two columns that appear in print and online: River Readings (reflections) and Sunshine and Crime (reviews). He edits the Gulf County Breeze (newspaper), teaches religion and writing classes at Gulf Coast Community College, and runs The Direct Effect Project (charities and ministries).
